The People's Record

An ongoing chronicle of communities of resistance around the world: anti-racism, anti-zionism, anti-imperialism, the Arab Spring, anti-austerity protests in Greece and across Europe, student movements all around the world, the Occupy Movement, anti-capitalist movements, anarchist movements, socialist movements, leftist communities and other relevant international news.

Q&A

auntieimperial asked: My comment on the Jordan Syria post got mutilated. What I was trying to say is RT IS NOT an authoritative source. The NYTimes says an unnamed government official said this... While RT thinks Webster Tarpley, a Lyndon Larouche associate (his pr guy for years) is a legitimate foreign policy analyst.

Cool, well that’s why we put the source there. You can click on the source and judge for yourself. :)

I’m going to go ahead and publish this so everyone can see your reaction to RussiaToday as a source and make judgments about the source for themselves. I often find the Russian left, anti-American “bias” much easier to stomach than the corporate bias I get from any of the American corporate news outfits. As to the legitimacy of their foreign policy analyst, that’s something that I admittedly know almost nothing about. Thanks for reaching out!
