Here are some stories you may not otherwise hear about today: 

• The internet activist collective “NullCrew” released an extremely sizable dump of nearly 7,000 names-passwords from U.S. Government websites as well as nearly 2,000 from U.S. military websites. 

• A young 20-something year old man in Western China self-immolated on Friday and became the fifth Tibetan protester to die of self immolation this week. The protests are against Chinese rule and in support of a free Tibet. 

• Anti-austerity protests continue to bring tens of thousands into the streets; after repeatedly having budgets and salaries slashed, today more than 3,000 off-duty police officers have joined the protesters. 

• Despite Israel’s continuous crimes against humanity, despite the recent findings of the Russell Tribunal on Palestine, the United States continues to aid Israel. The United States’ most recent form of aid comes by way of nearly $4 Billion in loan guarantee extensions to Israel amidst a U.S. financial crises.

• A new study released indicates that more than half of all of Americans are racist, holding explicitly anti African American views. Although this isn’t news to most people of color, this will undoubtedly generate lots of feigned outrage from white people who deny the existence of racism.
